Turismo Valencia. What aspects of the city have influenced your work?

Paula Sanz. The light, without doubt.

VLC. Would you say that the Mediterranean essence is part of your style?

P.S. Maybe, perhaps it’s influenced by our open and friendly character, by our climate.

VLC. How would you define Valencia?

P.S. Open, not very complicated, happy and full of life.

VLC. What do you think a foreign visitor should not miss out on when visiting us?

P.S. Enjoying any of the terrace bars and restaurants in the city, living the street like we do, enjoying the happiness of the simple things, like the sun, good company and great food.

VLC. Have you a particular memory or anecdote related to the city?

P.S. When I’m away, the light, the climate, the colour of the sea at mid-day are always close.

VLC. What would you highlight in a brush stroke about Valencia?

P.S. Valencia has the beauty and colour of Mediterranean cities, its a joy to the senses.

VLC. Your favourite place to go for a walk.

P.S. The beach

VLC. And a place to get lost in?

P.S. I really like the San Miguel de los Reyes monastery

VLC. When is the best time of year to visit Valencia?

P.S. I think any time is great, though April and May are my favourite months.

VLC. Is there anything you would pack in your suitcase to remind you of Valencia?

P.S. Without doubt the light.
